The Wyggeston is a fantastic, traditional community pub situated in the historical town of Burton upon Trent renowned for its brewing at its height producing one quarter of all beer sold in the UK.
With The National Brewery Centre and Marston Brewery a stones throw away you will not find a finer locally brewed Carling or Pedigree pint!
The Wyggeston, fondly known as the 'Wyggy', is well known in Burton for having a following on the live entertainment circuit and CAMRA award winning ales.
The traditional style public bar houses pool and darts facilities along with seating for approximately 30 with a separate main large trading area consisting of a well-appointed split level lounge with seating for 50 covers and original open fires creating a warm & cosy atmosphere in the cold winter months.
The Wyggeston also contains a private function room named “The Belverdere” which is able to accommodate around 50 covers benefiting from a separate bar servery and direct access to the garden, making it perfect for private functions, meetings, parties and special occasions. Outside, The Wyggeston has an enclosed patio area to the rear providing a safe and pleasant space for families. A large lawn complete with 10 garden tables boasts plenty of room to hold events in the summer, such as family fun days and beer festivals. Free Car parking is available on site.
The Wyggy has 5 large screens throughout the pub showing Sky & BT Sports all day and broadcasts all live sporting fixtures including Football, Rugby, Boxing, Golf, Formula One and many more. There is also a large screen & projector in the bar area.
